Concussive Electronica from Moneõ and LudoWic

Music by: LudoWic & Moneõ Written by: Piotr Majer & Thijs Lodewijk Artwork by: Nourdin Kouch Mastered by Ivo Severijns Released by: Wic Recordings

If you like your electronic music cinematic, dark, and visceral then Moneõ and LudoWic should definitely be on your radar. Moneõ, based in the UK, has bee honing his signature sound for years, harnessing a unique combination of grit, noise and idm-centric sound design. LudoWic is a Dutch artist who works mostly with vintage synths and analog gear to create rich, brooding, monochrome soundscapes.

The two join forces for ‘Memory Loss’ a bone-shaking single released earlier this month on Dutch label Wic Recordings. Clocking in at 5 and a half minutes, the track slinks between moments of suspenseful introspection to points of all out noise-drenched obliteration. With a mid track breakdown that even pulls in some slightly-abused strings, the track is an auditory attack cleverly utilizing a wide range of off-kilter ammunition.

Enter the Hi-Tech Lounge Life of Yarck with 'Untangle'

Yarck kicks off a brand new music project with a single entitled “Untangle,” which you can stream above. Yarck draws inspiration from all the big cats of IDM and experimental electronics like Aphex Twin, FlyLo, and Björk, (I also hear elements of early Amon Tobin or Autechre) which is surely evident in his approach to glitchy percussion and unpredictable rhythmic lurches that evolve and coalesce throughout the track. but what I find most striking about it are the melodic elements. Evolving pads glide in and out and bird-like stabs float about, invoking an unmistakable lounge music vibe. But while the ‘lounge’ descriptor has always had a slightly pejorative connotation to it, for its tendency to be inoffensive filler music, Yarck elevates the motif and places it somewhere in the future. This is music that would grace the gritty blue-collar lounge of an off-world trading post.

Yarck has a lot planned for the future, including a self-made music video for Untangle, which will be out in the near future. Keep up with him on the socials and you won’t miss a beat.

Eelke Kleijn releases title track from upcoming album- 'Moments of Clarity'

Eelke Kleijn - Moments Of Clarity ▶ https://DLN018.lnk.to/MOCYA Stream more Deep House hits here: https://DeepHouseHits.lnk.to/PLYA Subscribe to Armada Deep: http://bit.ly/SubscribeDeep Expectations for Eelke Kleijn's forthcoming album have been sky-high since the Dutchman dropped 'The Calling' and 'Punta Cana' as the album's first two tracks earlier, and the momentum has only multiplied since.

The multi-talented multi-instrumentalist Eelke Kleijn strikes again with a euphoric slice of set-ending deep house. But to simply say the track is a great example of the genre would be a bit of an understatement, as ‘Moments of Clarity’ is an eclectic mix of styles and aesthetics. Sure, one can hear some deep house sensibilities, but upon a closer listen it’s apparent that this production skillfully combines elements of downtempo, ambient, house and even breaks.

Regardless of the classification, one thing is for sure, this track provides the perfect bit of introspection suited so well to the end of a set. As Kleijn elucidates “‘Moments of Clarity’ is the kind of track I would play right at the end of my set. Imagine playing it at sunrise after a long intense night. That’s how I envisioned the track while working on it.”

’Moments of Clarity’ serves as the third single and title track from his much anticipated, upcoming third album set to release this fall. Landing on his own ‘Days like Nights’ label, the in-demand dutchman continues to balance his duties as a producer, DJ, soundtrack composer and label head with an eye on an increasingly bright future ahead.

Ambient IDM from Dutch duo- Tangent

Dutch production duo Ralph van Reijendam and Robbert Kok craft sonic journeys combining cutting-edge electronics with more traditional musical instruments. Always striving for the pinnacle of sound quality, Ralph and Robbert are constantly pushing their creative boundaries by exploring new and exciting ways of working with sound.

Ralph van Reijendam graduated from HKU University of the Arts Utrecht with a Bachelor of Arts and Technology in 2007, specializing in post-production audio for film, animation and video games. Since graduating Ralph has worked as a sound designer, creating custom fx and atmospheres, and an audio/visual installation artist, creating live interactive environments utilizing custom built Max/MSP programs he designed himself.

Robbert Kok, growing up playing in a number of metal bands throughout high school, eventually became the vocalist for the well known Dutch death metal band Disavowed. Active now for nearly two decades, Disavowed and Robbert's various live music experience has undoubtably lent itself well to his electronic projects as well.

Tangent is the hybridization of both Ralph and Robert's creative sensibilities and decades worth of technical musical experience. Lucky for us, the duo have a fresh new album entitled 'Approaching Complexity' slated for release Oct.5 on Oakland, California label N5MD. The opening track 'Confinement' is an 8 minute epic piece full of layered distortion, rich textures, and emotive pads. If this track is any sign of what the full album has in store we are certainly in for a treat!
