Batavia Collective (BTVC) is a Jakarta based trio of musicians pushing the boundaries of future jazz, electronic soul and liquid funk. Taking inspiration from the gritty streets of the Indonesian capital, Doni Joesran on keys, Elfa Zulham on drums and Kenny Gabriel on synth bass join forces for a melting pot sound that refreshes as much as it innovates. For their debut release on R&S records, the trio teamed up with Indonesian singer Mohammed Kamga for an unforgettable collaboration with more groove than a runaway locomotive.
